Development Description:
Permission for 23 no. dwellings comprising 20 no. apartments and 3 no. bungalows. The proposed apartments are located in the ‘Cluain Fhada’ area and will be accommodated in 4 no. separate 2- storey buildings on the site of a previously approved residential development permitted under P.A. Ref. No. 14/520049 that has now expired. All four apartment buildings feature a dual roof profile incorporating flat and pitched elements. The first-floor apartment dwellings will be served by balconies. All apartments are also served by external bike and bin storage facilities, together with surface car parking and EV charging points. A terraced block of 3 no. bungalows is proposed on an infill site on the western side of an Bóthair na Carraig opposite the apartment building known as ‘Ard na Solais’ and to the north of the existing neighbourhood centre. A similar development was previously permitted on this part of the site under P.A. Ref. No. 20/123 but this permission has now expired. The proposed development also provides for public lighting, landscaping and boundary treatments, EV Charging and ducting together with all associated site development works
