Development Description:
The development will consist of:
1. The installation of approximately 1km of 90mm OD water trunk main, which will extend from the junction of Portacloy road and the R314 into the village of Portacloy.
2. The installation of approximately 6.2km of 90mm OD water trunk main, which will extend from the Porturlin road and the L5246 road junction into the village of Porturlin and continue to the village of Sraghataggle.
3. The installation of approximately 13.8Km of 63mm OD water distribution mains to supply water to Carrownaglogh, Carrowteige, Portacloy, Purtarlin and Srahataggle.
4. All associated temporary site development works to gain access including clearance of vegetation, disassembly and reassembly of gate posts/ piers and removal and reinstatement of existing fencing, walls, and hedging; and
5. Other temporary associated and ancillary development works required for the purposes of the proposed watermain, including the installation of stone tracks and temporary watercourse crossings.
The proposed watermain pipeline is located in the townlands of Carrowglogh, Carrowteige, Portacloy, Curraunboy, Purtarlin, Srahataggle in County Mayo.
