PROTECTED STRUCTURE: We, the Board of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, intend to apply for permission for development at this site:Saint Patrick’s Deanery, 40 Kevin Street Upper, Dublin 8. (A protected structure RPS ref. no 4188 & 4189 and Recorded Monument DU018-020113). The works will include the following: 1. Removal of modern access ramp and infilling of modern doorway on north/rear elevation. 2. Installation of new stairs, platform lift and landing deck on north/rear elevation to provide accessible route to garden. 3. New doorway and garden access doors in west/side elevation 4. Replacement of existing window with new door on north elevation of service wing. 5. New sash window in existing blocked opening on west/side elevation of service wing and replacement of existing modern window with new sash window. 6. Internal alterations to include reconfiguration of toilets, including lower ground floor accessible toilet, bathrooms & kitchen. 7. Rationalisation of pipe runs externally.

320m 02/04/2026 APPLICATION DECLARED INVALID Fumbally Square and Fumbally Court, Fumbally Lane, Dublin 8 PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The proposed development relates to two adjacent sites on Fumbally Lane including the Fumbally Square Building within the Fumbally Square site, located to the north of Fumbally Lane and southwest of New Street, and the West Court Building (known as Tower 1 &2) of the Fumbally Court site, located to the south of Fumbally Lane and to the north of Malpas Street, Dublin 8. The proposed development generally consists of a change of use from office use and the required works to facilitate the development of a 172-no. room aparthotel over two buildings. The application boundary includes a Protected Structure at 12 Fumbally Lane (RPS: 3001- entrance walls and stone setts) and sits as part of a wider site which contains a Protected Structure at 9 Fumbally Lane (RPS Ref. 3000- a stone warehouse). The development will consist of the development of a 172-no. room aparthotel, within the existing buildings, as follows: 1. Change of use of the existing 5 storey Square Building located within Fumbally Square from office to aparthotel to accommodate 119 no. rooms.
