It is 57.7 km in length and travels from Cashla 110 kV substation in Barrettspark in central County Galway and traverses northwest to the Dalton 110 kV substation (County Mayo). The OHL has a total of 271no. supporting structures. Within the functional area of Mayo County Council, there is 24.7 km of the existing OHL circuit, with 111no. structures. Within the functional area of Galway County Council there is 33.0 km, with 160no. structures. Separate planning applications will be lodged with Galway County Council. The proposed development within Co.
