Development Description:
1) Construction of a new rowing clubhouse facility consisting of a three-bay boatshed, an ancillary boatshed with toilet facilities, hardstanding, a concrete slipway and a pontoon ramp with the installation of a floating pontoon. 2) Construction of a new gated vehicular entrance onto the L6811 to the west of the site adjacent to the greenway pedestrian access point which will provide access to parking for 24 vehicles, two boat trailers and bicycle parking to serve the rowing clubhouse facility. 3) Construction of additional greenway car parking to the east of the site, to include demolition of a 6m section of the existing stone wall, construction of a new vehicle entrance onto the L6811, provision of 13 car parking spaces, and all ancillary works. 4) Rerouting of the existing greenway along the northern and eastern boundaries of the site,and provision of a new pedestrian entrance and gate onto the greenway from the proposed car parking area. 5) All associated ancillary works including landscaping, signage, underground waste water holding tank, rainwater harvesting tank and boundary treatments.
